Ubiquitous feral chickens roam the island. Hopeful of forbidden handouts, serenading us with imperative calls.

I understand the locals are not thrilled with the proliferation of these jungle fowl and they probably have a negative impact on small creatures and food sources for native species yet they’re part of the experience of visiting here.
